In the year 2045, two married scientists deal with the consequences of their adult-age daughter being among the first humans to transport their consciousness to a fully-integrated cybernetic body. In viewing her experience, and contemplating their own upcoming transformation, they consider the impact of this new technology on family structure, perspective of time, psychology of immortality, spirituality, sexuality, and ultimately, humanity as a whole.

A man and woman with surprisingly much in common meet at a Starbucks on Broadway in New York. Their conversation is often interrupted by a barista who is continually auditioning, hoping a director or producer is among her customers.

What makes a person evil? Jimmy, who claims he’s a serial killer, kidnaps Brittany and tries to justify his past actions to her. She explains why she’s different than his past victims. Will she be successful, or can he rationalize any of his deeds?
